#0053 'Baby Chic Matinee Set' Baby Girl Knitting Pattern.

A lovely, easy to knit traditionally styled matinee set which would make a special outfit for any baby girl.

The pattern consists of a round necked full matinee coat with scallop detailing to the cuffs.

A nautical, striped beret style hat complete with matching 'Mary Jane' shoes.

Red knitted bows bring the design right up to date.

The pattern gives instructions to knit the matinee coat, beret hat, Mary Jane shoes and bows.

Materials Required:

To knit the set you will require approx 160g of Patons Smoothie in White, 80g of the same yarn in Navy Blue and approx 10g in Red.

DK Yarn (Light Worsted) could be used as an alternative yarn.

5 buttons - if you wish to top the bows with buttons as I have done in the model you will need to purchase an additional 4 buttons.

Needles Required:

The set is knitted on size 3.25mm (US3) and 4mm (US6).
